Illuminate Learning 101 acknowledges Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s First People and Traditional Custodians. We value their cultures, identities, and continuing connection to country, waters, kin, and community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and we are committed to making a positive contribution to the learning and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people by providing services that are welcoming, safe, culturally appropriate, and inclusive. We are deeply grateful for the generosity of Australia’s First Nations peoples in their sharing of culture and ancient wisdom with us. This land was never ceded, it always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

Illuminate Learning 101 is committed to embedding child safe organisational practice consistent with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, Child Safe Standards, and Commonwealth Child Safe Framework. We work hard to create a culture, adopt strategies, and take action to provide a safe and supportive space that promotes wellbeing and prevents harm to children and young people.

We want Illuminate Learning 101 to be a place where children and young people are valued, heard, encouraged, and free to bring their curiosity and authentic selves to learn and grow.
